We had a heavy frost, so the annuals are pretty yuck now. Spent some time outside getting rid of them and trimming down the perennials. There is much more to be done, but I have made a start.
Went from gardening to a mani-pedi. I have sworn off any non-wedding or renovation shopping, but I won't give up my manis. I won't have another pedi until spring, but a mani a month is a sanity necessity. Sometimes more often, but I will try to keep it in check. Next one is scheduled for right before Thanksgiving, as we are going north to spend some time with fiance's parents. Gotta have my nails!
Saturday is to rain all day-so I plan to finish packing up the dining room in preparation for the furniture moving and carpet pulling in there. A run to the thrift shop is also on the cards-I have to get rid of some of this stuff! It does depress me sometimes-the amount of money spent on stuff that is now going. If I feel like I got my money's worth, that is one thing-but the impulse buys that never panned out are embarrassing. However, right now there isn't a lot of disposable cash-but by giving the stuff to the thrift shop, I can help them raise money-so in the end it is worth it.
