I listen to NPR a lot. I like the Saturday morning grown-up comedies-"Car Talk," and "Wait Wait," and the news shows and the music. It's pretty much my perfect radio station. The only other station I click to on my car radio is an all news-all the time station out of a nearby big city. The rare times I get custody of the XM, I will dial up BBC America, but that's pretty much it.
Husband listens to XM sports, son listens to his iPod through an MP3 thingie in his car.
So we get this letter, followed by a call from Arbitron-would we be an Arbitron household for 10 days? Just write down the radio stations you listen to during that period, and mail back the little booklet. What a hoot!
Sure! So our booklets are in the mail, along with a small cash gift-"enough for a cup of coffee." Wonder if that is Starbucks, or McDonald's?
